What kind of octave effects can the Sub 'N' Up Mini Octaver produce?

The Sub 'N' Up Mini Octaver delivers impressive polyphonic octave effects. It allows you to add one octave up and one octave down to your original signal using the dedicated controls. A second octave down is also accessible by utilizing the correct TonePrint. This creates rich, full sounds, from subtle thickening to massive, synth-like textures. Its advanced tracking ensures your chords and single notes remain clear and articulate, making it versatile for various musical styles.

How does the TonePrint feature work with this pedal?

TonePrint allows you to customize your Sub 'N' Up Mini Octaver with unique sounds. You can use the free TonePrint app on your iOS or Android device to "beam" artist-created presets or your own custom settings directly to the pedal wirelessly. For deeper editing and creating your own sounds from scratch, you can connect the pedal to your computer via the Mini-B USB port.

What power supply does the Sub 'N' Up Mini Octaver require?

The Sub 'N' Up Mini Octaver requires a standard 9V DC power supply, which is sold separately. It needs to provide at least 100mA of current and have a center-negative polarity. This ensures reliable performance and consistent tone for your octave effects. Sweetwater offers a wide selection of compatible power supplies to keep your pedal running smoothly.

Who is the Sub 'N' Up Mini Octaver designed for?

This pedal is perfect for guitarists, bassists, and even keyboard players looking to expand their sonic palette. Its compact size makes it ideal for crowded pedalboards, while its powerful polyphonic engine and TonePrint capabilities appeal to both beginners experimenting with octave effects and experienced players crafting unique soundscapes.

Does the Sub 'N' Up Mini Octaver affect my tone when it's off?

No, the Sub 'N' Up Mini Octaver features true bypass switching. This means that when the pedal is disengaged, your instrument's signal passes directly through without any coloration or degradation. Your original tone remains pure and unaffected, preserving the integrity of your sound chain until you activate the octave effect.
