As Mighty and Majestic as the Storm King Mountain

Take the Aguilar Storm King Bass Distortion Pedal for a spin and you’ll soon see what all the fuss is about. This micro-pedal holds a mountain of incredible tone and sonic-shaping capabilities that will lead you on a trek from tube-like saturation to massive, in-your-face fuzz. A shape knob delivers a wide range of possible tones, taking you from light saturation to dirty, ripped-speaker grit. Engage the kick button for some extra frequency oomph when it comes to presence and punch — it’s a sure-fire way to gather a little more presence, bite, and volume. Gain and master knobs let you dial in your signal and volume with ease. Many who demoed this pedal at Sweetwater said it hit just as mighty and majestic as its New York namesake.

Aguilar: the brand chosen by touring bassists worldwide

Aguilar pickups, preamps, amplifiers, effects, and cabinets are created by bass players for bass players. Whether you play live or lay it down in the studio, Aguilar Amplification products are designed to deliver the best bass performance possible. World-famous bassists like John Patitucci (Chick Corea), Adam Clayton (U2), and Paul Turner (Jamiroquai) have discovered the tone, power, and reliability of Aguilar products.

Reviews

Little Beast
I love this thing! Man you can play with the controls and get everything from old school mellow overdrive to heavy hitting grit. I've landed somewhere in between for my favorite setting. Solid construction and solid tones. It does like you to lean into it a bit, but but that's what I like about analog.
