Zoom BTA-1 Bluetooth remote
I purposely obtained this addition for my Q8n-4k. I really just needed a start/stop function for recording the Concert Band I'm in at concerts. I put 4 cameras up to record with. 2 Zoom Q8, 1 Q4, and now the Q8n-4k. I have found that Zoom cameras are the perfect music recording cameras. Since i'm in the band in set cameras as static and start them 15 minutes before concert. I would not have added a 4'th camera that did not have remote capabilities. The Blue BTA-1 works perfect on the Q8n-4K and the associated app gives plenty of interface options to important functions on the device. This accessory is a simple but great tool.

Great bluetooth connection. This device only works with an ipad or a macbook with the apple store driver download. Yes I can operate the L-20 sitting in an audience seat
This is a MUST-HAVE accessory for the F3!
I bought a Zoom F3 and didn't give much thought to the BTA-1. I mean, who needs another remote control device, eh? Well, ahem ... I take that back. This thing basically turns your phone into a studio-quality 2-channel recording device! The F3 is awesome, but it's ... well ... pretty small. Like, about the size of a Rubik's Cube with the bottom row missing. It has buttons on four sides, and it's hard to read the screen and push those buttons. So I downloaded the app for my phone (Android) and it presents a large, easy-to-read and manipulate screen. So I ordered the BTA-1 to see how well it works. Frankly, I'm blown away! Mostly because it's a 2-way interface in that I can see the waveform moving around on the phone screen as I'm recording on the device. The only thing that would make it better would be if it would feed the headphone signal to the phone over the BT so you can listen remotely as well.
