Reviews

Roland V drums monitor is crisp!!
Excellent value and volume out of the Roland PM-100 80 watt monitor, clear, clean and bright even at high volume levels.
Music background: Singer, songwriter, guitarist, beginning drummer.
Exactly what you want from a small monitor
I've used this monitor with my Alesis drum kit, as well as a FRFR speaker for an "ampless" guitar rig, and it sounds great in both scenarios.

You don't get an expansive EQ or effects, but I've never felt like it was needed. It sounds great as a neutral platform for amplification and has enough power to be heard in a live band scenario. It does one thing, and excels at it.
Electric drum kit from Sweetwater rocks!
Hi - I am relatively new to drumming, just started this past spring, and I was using a borrowed acoustic set at home. But it was very loud for my other family members, so my husband talked me into purchasing this Roland TD-17kvx2 set. I admit, I was skeptical, but once we got it set up, it's pretty amazing. The sound is very realistic to the acoustic, and it handles well for what I use it for (practicing at home, having the band over, etc.).
Also the Sweetwater customer service is outstanding - they are always available, and we have gotten to know our sales person by name (Hi, Max) ... he's always available to help answer questions or address concerns.
So all of you drummers, go for it! I'm so glad we purchased this drum kit, it's been great. Thx!
(only one note ... once you set it up, don't plan to move it. Gets tricky, so I just keep it in the same spot at home.)
Music background: beginner at drums
Great drum monitor!
I really like this monitor! I use it for home practice. I like the plug in for my phone. The sound quality of my music through the aux port is plenty good for practice. I think the sound of my Alesis DM-10 MK 2 sounds great through it! It's easily loud enough for home use. I cannot say anything about stage use as I must admit that I'm a new drummer and don't have that experience. It's compact and lightweight also. It doesn't get any easier than this amp. I really do enjoy it for home jamming!
Music background: Beginner drummer, rhythm guitar
The perfect fit for an arranger keyboard!
I play out quite a bit for my age and I was looking for an amp that would add some low end to my QSC K210's which needed repair. Kurt suggested a QSC sub but it was too large and heavy. I tried several powered speakers but thought since my keyboard had a drum sounds a drum amp could possibly be a good fit. A drum amp can handle the fast full range of percussive hits and bass drum lows. This little 10 inch amp is perfect. It's angled back, sounds fantastic and even though is Mono it will serve my purpose for bass, drums and the rest of the excellent keyboard sounds from a Ketron Event. I hooked it up with two QSC C8's and the Roland amp. What a marvelous addition. It brought the entire rig to balance and perfection. I had stereo out front and from the rear a kick but bass response from this $ amp. I'd like to thank the Sweetwater sales team for their assistance in bringing down several amps to try in a private testing room. It made my decision much easier. At 78 years old great sound, lightweight and simplicity the answer. With the few years I have left on this planet I'll keep enjoying my relationship with Sweetwater's great equipment, fabulous musicians and especially my wonderful audience.
Music background: Professor Emeritus, composer, trombonist, pianist, arranger

Simply put, modern electronic music wouldn't exist without Roland. Many of the electronic musicians here at Sweetwater cut our teeth on TR Rhythm machines and fondly remember programming our first TB-303s. We owe a good part of our careers to this amazing and innovative company. It's been fun to watch and grow right alongside Roland, as they've introduced wave after wave of revolutionary keyboards, digital pianos, and more. For example, Roland's V-Drum Kits continuously redefine the possibilities of electronic drums, beginning with SuperNATURAL technology to the latest Prismatic Sound Modeling. We're huge fans, and we'd love to tell you all about them. Whether you want a pocket-sized synth or a cutting-edge video mixer, if Roland makes it, then Sweetwater is 100% behind it.
