Dual Footswitch with TS/TRS Operation

Whether you’ve got a digital amp and want hands-free preset exploration or two analog amps/effects chains you’d like to control from the same device, the Mission Engineering TT-2 is a versatile multitasker that every guitarist will eventually find a use for on their board. Its rugged metal housing and dual momentary switches, combined with its two modes of operation, cover loads of amp-switching territory. In TRS mode, a single cable can be run to your compatible device for up/down, forward/back, or A/B switching. In TS mode, you can run dual cables into two separate devices for huge space savings on your pedalboard. Cables are not included. If you’re looking for a capable, compact multi-switcher for your amps and pedals, the TT-2 from Sweetwater more than fits the bill.

Mission Engineering TT-2 Footswitch Features:

  • Compatible with a range of amps and effects
  • Great for digital amps and multi-effects units — from Line 6, Eventide, Fractal, and more
  • Dual momentary switches with tactile click action
  • Resilient metal housing
  • TS or TRS operation
  • TRS mode: switch up and down on compatible devices
  • TS mode: control two devices from the same box

Reviews

A great addiiton to the Line6 HX Stomp
It appears to be a very durable unit and works well. But for the price I would expect a little more detail of the inner workings of the TRS/TS switch *inside* the unit. The little card only shows a photo of half of the internal circuit board. It neglects to say how the switch is set from the factory (which turns out to be TRS-mode), or how to enter the box to toggle the switch. Neither does is specify if opening the case voids any warranty!

My goal was to determine, w/o resorting to trial and error, how to run both buttons with a single cable (thereby obviating the more obvious use of an insert cable).

So for any one who follows I've attached photos...

HX Stomp Accessory
Works very, well. FS4 did not operate my HX Stomp initially, however, I found a YouTube video from Mission Engineering that indicated I needed to set FS4 as Tip and FS5 as Ring in HX Stomp, if using a single TRS cable, and it worked as intended. I should have bought this when I got the HX Stomp.
Solid 2 switch unit
I bought this to add 2 switches for my Fractal FM3 and it works flawlessly. Very solid build and switches work as they should.
Music background: Semi professional musician
Add Control!!
I bought a couple of these to turn FX on/off on my pedalboard and couldn't be happier. You don't realize what you're missing without them. I wish they had leds like the BOSS fs-7, but the size makes up for that. Fits almost anywhere!! I color coded the nuts to have a visual reference.
(purple for flanger, green for delays, etc.
Music background: music is life!!
Killer product.
Buy together with TRS cable! Preferably Ernie Ball P06405 Flat Ribbon Stereo Right Angle to Right Angle Patch Cable-12-inch.
Unless your into making your own TRS cables. :)
