Use Standard Footswitches to Send Any MIDI Message
You can send MIDI messages with a simple footswitch, with the MIDI Solutions F8 MIDI footswitch controller. In fact, the F8 can take the inputs of up to eight footswitches (not included), and use them to generate virtually any type of MIDI message. For example, you could set one footswitch to start/stop a drum machine, have another send tap tempo for your sequencer, and set up others to send program change messages.
