A Dante Interface for Your Harrison Audio 500 Series Rack
Harrison Audio’s D510r 500 Series chassis offers a unique advantage in the ability to add a dedicated Dante interface card. Installed in a specialized rear-panel slot on the D510r, the D510dante card provides up to 10 input and 14 output channels at sampling rates from 44.1/48kHz to 88.2/96kHz. Harrison Audio equipped the D510dante card with high-performance AKM Velvet AD and DA converters. As the D510r can accommodate up to 10 modules, the D510dante interface includes 10 A/D converters and 10 D/A converters — one pair for each of the slots. Four additional D/A converters are provided for future use. The inputs and outputs are combined via an integrated Gigabit Ethernet switch, so a D510r with a D510dante installed will appear as a single device (with a redundant primary/secondary configuration) on your Dante network. Whether you use it as a front end for a DAW-based studio or for insert effects in a digital live setup, a Dante-equipped D510r chassis makes it easy to integrate your favorite modules into an AoIP network. Add the optional D510mx 10 x 2 mixer interface module as well, and your D510r chassis becomes a powerful computer interface that uses your favorite 500 Series modules as input sources!
