We know of only two in existence. An early-1970s project that never saw production and eventually morphed into one of the first polyphonic synthesizers, the infamous Apollo sported a preset-oriented 71-voice, polyphonic architecture that would become de rigueur in the 1980s. Now as the first of their PX Prototype Series, UVI makes this rare synth available as a plug-in. What can UVI PX Apollo do for you? Over 150 Record-ready Patches For PX Apollo, UVI diligently documented a fully functional specimen of the historical instrument. This involved creating a massive sample catalog, with each key being sampled in multiple configurations with four round robins per note. The result is a huge sound bank consisting of over 4,000 samples. From this library, UVI's sound designers then created over 150 record-ready patches that will soar your sonics to new heights.
