Clean Up Your Audio with No Latency or Artifacts
Hiss, background chatter, rumble — these steady-state noises can really mar your recordings. McDSP's NR800 noise reduction plug-in makes short work of these unwanted sounds, homing in on portions of the frequency spectrum to combat buzz, hum, and other tonal noise. And unlike transform-based processes, it does it without introducing internal latency or sonic artifacts. Benefit from highpass and lowpass pre-filtering and eight bands of noise reduction, with multiple noise reduction modes to smooth aggressive processing. Version 7 introduces several optimizations to this powerful plug-in, with full support for Apple Silicon and the latest Intel processors, a high-definition user interface, over 1,500 studio-quality presets, zero-latency algorithms for seamless operation, and so much more. Whether it's music production, post-production, or live sound situations, McDSP NR800 is a surefire way to tackle those pesky noises with exceptional results.
Note: The HD version of McDSP NR800 is compatible with Avid HDX systems. Non-Avid HDX users should purchase the Native version. Please contact your Sweetwater Sales Engineer for more information.

Loaded with useful noise reduction features
McDSP's NR800 is chock-full of useful noise reduction features. Eight bands of noise reduction are on tap for focusing in on problem frequencies, with highpass and lowpass filters to eliminate high- and low-frequency noise. Several NR Modes provide smooth to aggressive noise suppression, with a Range control scaling the overall noise reduction from 100–0%. A x2 Mode doubles the noise reduction amount in all bands — ideal for situations when broad-stroke noise attenuation is required. Use the NR800's Response parameter to adjust how fast the processing recovers from a noise event. You also get an NR Bias selector that allows different levels of processing when snapping the noise reduction gain and thresholds to an input signal. Each of the NR800's eight bands includes a noise reduction amount fader and threshold marker, and the usual McDSP linking control capabilities from a master (M) and linked (L) control button paradigm. On top of that, Sweetwater audio engineers love that each band can be individually bypassed or soloed to audition the amount of incoming noise.
