Users can quickly bend genres by cycling through Eden 2's 10 drum kits, 60 preset drum styles, and 690 patterns. You won't find complex drum layouts here — the tone and intensity of each beat can be dialed up or down using Beatmaker's multi-parameter Kit and Mix sliders. Each slider controls several parameters at once to let you quickly crunch up or ramp up your beats. Users who are seeking more granular beat control can adjust the volume, pitch, decay, and filtering for each instrument (kick, snare, clap) directly from the interface. Additionally, each drum style within Eden 2 gives you multiple Intros, Fills, Endings, and Breakdowns, which can be controlled via a keyboard controller or on-screen interface for real-time road mapping. Once you find a beat you vibe with, simply drag and drop the MIDI from Eden 2 into your DAW for further tweaking and editing. Eden 2 also gives you part-by-part audio outputs to easily route its custom-baked beats into your full session.

Most kits within Eden 2 can be quickly shaped to taste using the intuitive Kit and Mix sliders. These sliders control multiple parameters to whip tracks into shape without any fuss. Kick Pump dials in powerful sidechain compression, while the Kick-Snare slider moves the balance from downbeats to backbeats — useful for creating fades and transitions. On the Mix side, 12 assignable character presets can be dialed in using the Amount and Beat Intensity sliders to quickly give your beat an edge.
Custom drum and master settings
In addition, Eden 2 lets you customize the sound of each of its drum sources as well as that of its master buss. Here you can balance levels between snare and clap, re-pitch kick drums to match the key of your song, program filter sweeps for drum breaks, and add global ambience and saturation to suit your style of taste.
