We got this adapter to repurpose a Sure XLR podium microphone to use to live stream auctions. Easy to use and works great.

Does everything it says and interfaces very easily with my Macintosh computer.

This works terrific with certain mics but with others the xlr end of the mic mate (in my copy at least) does not hold the mic or cable securely. It just doesn't click in like regular xlr connection. It works great with my MXL mic and an MXL mic cable I have, so I connect it with a mic cable that fits. It's not ideal but it is a good backup. I like having the gain and headphone output.
