Full-featured MIDI Hub

Got Source Audio One Series or Soundblox 2 stompboxes? Then you need the Neuro Hub — it brings full MIDI functionality to up to five pedals. This full-featured MIDI hub includes Source Audio’s scene-saving functionality, enabling you to create up to 128 single or multi-pedal presets. And it’s a breeze to use — just dial in your stompbox’s parameters, hold the Save Scene button, and you’re good to go. If you want to build an integrated multi-pedal system, the Source Audio Neuro Hub is an easy way to do it — no complicated multi-effects processor required!

Create a multi-pedal system with 1-step preset recall

The Neuro Hub makes building a multi-pedal system with 1-step preset recall easy. Its connections are clearly laid out: a 5-pin MIDI In and MIDI Out/Thru, along with a TRS expression pedal input, Sensor input, mini USB port, and five Multi-Function outputs. Hooking everything up is easy — connect a Dual Expression Pedal, Reflex Universal Expression Pedal, or Hot Hand 3 Wireless Effect Controller to the Neuro Hub. After that, assign external control to any pedal on your board. Each preset can contain any number of external control configurations, including simultaneous Hot Hand and Expression Pedal control of multiple parameters on multiple pedals.

Source Audio Neuro Hub Features:

  • MIDI hub for One Series and Soundblox 2 pedals
  • Brings full MIDI functionality to up to 5 pedals
  • Save and recall up to 128 multi-pedal presets via MIDI Program Changes
  • Access, edit, and save presets via USB port to your Mac or PC
  • Easy to use — just dial in your stompbox’s parameters, hold the Save Scene button, and you’re done
  • Connections are clearly laid out

Reviews

Excellent Product -
Full disclosure - I am brand new to the world of midi. Been playing Bass for 25 years. Always played with musicians who used it in one form or another, yet I was always the die hard analog guy. Bass pedal board set up included always at least one of each category and it was a constant revolving cast.

Fast forward to now - after doing extensive research on the Source Audio One Series line I decided to go full in. I'll leave the individual pedals for another review - (which will be 5 stars) However, the brains of the outfit with the Neuro Hub make using the midi features exactly what I hoped it would be. Literally dial in the sounds you want and hit save. For simplicity sake it's amazing. Latency is not an issue between scenes - although that could also be the pedals in action.

I have yet to use the full capability as an interface to my computer which this unit works for as well.

Works great with 3rd party gear as well.

One note for other newbies - use the neuro app on your phone or tablet for set up. Spent a little while working through that one. Although customer service was extremely fast, responsive, and asking for follow up if I had figured out the issue.

Overall - very happy I went this route.
This is the item you're looking for.
Must Have box for Source pedals
If you have any Source Audio non-MIDI pedals then you need this box! Neuro Hub and app let you control Mercury, Vertigo, LA Lady, etc via MIDI from any MIDI controller. You set the pedals up in the app and create "Scenes" (Presets) in an instant. You can tweak the pedals via the knobs and then the app can pull the data in and create a scene using the settings you just made. Wizardry! It sits comfortably under my Temple Audio board so it should be fine under most other brands as well.

Had an odd issue with it that was driving me crazy. I was about to submit an RMA but decided to reach out to support at 8 at night. Got a response emailed back (by a human) in 15 minutes with the solution. Excellent customer service!

Only down side is you only get 3 sensor cables in the box. I had to Amazon a TRRS cable to finish my set up.

Overall incredibly happy with this purchase. Now my entire board is MIDI enabled.
A lot of function in a small box
I wish this box weren't required to do midi control of the small-sized Source Audio One Series pedals, but in order to make the system compatible with their previous Sound Blox pedal series, it had to be done. That said, the Hub works well with my ES 8 for midi control of the SA section of my board. The best thing about it is the size...it's really small. It's also well built and surprisingly heavy for its size.

Good addition but......
It is a clever companion to the Soleman. It does make the MIDI process much easier for a novice. However, the company has a terrible tech support system. It is by email only, maybe they will answer you and maybe not. When they do finally answer, assuming they do, they will tell you to read something that is available online. I guess they don"t think you have had anything to do while you wait for their assistance. Then, they will tell you that your email got stuck sideways in their email funnel. Not the kind of assurances you would expect from a high tech company. There is way to much bouncing from one manual to another for anything to remain cohesive. An example would be when they are talking about a particular feature on the Soleman, they point you to a manual on the desk top editor. My desk top editor freezes when I attempt to save from, I get an error code the I sent to them but haven"t heard a thing from them other than an automated message that you get immediately after sending the message. I give Source Audio a zero and Sweetwater five star rating, in the end that works out to 2.5. Good luck!
Only for Source Pedals
I got the midi usb hub to use a midi expression pedal with it via the expression input...wrong idea. Even after I bought the source expression pedal they later told me and it doesn't with it at all to midi learn events. If you want a good midi expression pedal interface use Beat Bars instead.
