I love this. My filter finally is perfect.

This is such a great upgrade from the old model

I highly recommend this upgrade for those of us who bought the ORIGINAL SE Reflexion Filter. The bracket that came with it was HORRIBLE. You HAD to put weights at the bottom of your mic stand or it would tip over. I recommend getting a quality mic stand like the On-Stage MS9212 Heavy-Duty Low Profile Microphone Stand to go with this. I don't think any mic is too heavy to tip over with this setup. And I've got a HEAVY mic with this setup.

The original mounting bracket always left something a little lacking. This new one really works well; no more drooping, easy to use, etc. Well worth the money if you have an older Filter Pro (I assume the new ones are shipping with this new bracket - if not, they should!).

This upgrade places the center of gravity a little closer to the stand so it all feels a bit more stable now. I recently bought a much heavier mic and now live in less fear of the whole thing tipping over and my go to mic winding up smashed on the floor. Holding back half a star as this is what I should have gotten in the first place.

I have the first version of the Reflexion filter, which is why I bought the upgrade. "Upgrade" is an interesting term.....as "recall" might be more appropriate. Regardless - the new mounting bracket is head and shoulders above the original. It is considerably studier than it's predecessor and I'm much more comfortable putting a heavier microphone on it. All things considered, it is a worthy purchase.
