The SM110 drum module really hits the sweet spot for a beginning drummer. Designed to inspire without overwhelming, its 250 sounds are arranged into 25 preset drum sets, all logically categorized and easily selectable. Jamming along with your favorite songs is also a cinch via the 1/8-inch aux input, and an onboard metronome helps you hone your chops, time, and feel. The onboard looper further enhances the Edge's functionality, allowing you to record up to 5,000 notes directly in the SM110 module. Should you wish to plug into a computer, however, the SM110 module connects via USB-MIDI, opening immense sound possibilities through the wide world of drumming software.
The Ludwig legacy
With a proud legacy that dates back to 1909, Ludwig drums are a favorite among Sweetwater drummers for their warm, punchy sound. The world has heard them in front of
Cream’s Ginger Baker, keeping the pulse behind Queen at Live Aid, and laying down the monstrous sound of Led Zeppelin’s “When the Levee Breaks.” But the company’s biggest break came when Ringo Starr proudly played them on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. Ludwig drums of today continue to carry this impressive legacy forward
