My 11 year old purchased for in house practice. Works great. I've used it and it has a really nice natural feel

This pad is good quality. The head is fine for striking. It helps for coordination. (Rysn Clapper my tech also recommended.) With this pad my coordination came back surprisingly quickly. I lost coordination from multiple strokes. 2 months ago, I couldn't do a drum roll. My right hand was just limp. But now I can hold a small jazz pick and do a drum roll on this pad. Now ready to use a full set again. Thank you

It has foam on the bottom, not rubber. The foam on the base slides across every surface I've put it on (my snare drum, my desk, even my 10 inch rack tom somehow, despite the fact that this is in fact 10 inches). I've considered going to a department store and buying neoprene so I can glue it to the bottom and it'll actually stay still. Other than that, this is solid. Not amazing, not worth the price, but if you can find it on eBay for about $, I think it's worth it.
