Pre/Post routing options for ultimate rig flexibility
Some modulation effects, like Uni-Vibe, sound great in front of your preamp or overdrive pedals. And some other effects, like tremolo and chorus, may sound better to you in the effects loop of your amplifier. The Wampler Terraform allows you to do both, with its Pre/Post routing switch. With the switch disengaged, Terraform allows for basic mono/stereo operation. With Pre/Post engaged, the bottom ("Left") set of inputs and outputs connect to your guitar and amp, while the top ("Right") set of inputs connect to your amp's effects loop. You can then decide on a per-effect basis which effects are routed in front of your amp and which are routed to its effects loop.
External control via MIDI or expression pedal
For more expressive potential, attach a standard expression pedal to the Wampler Terraform. From controlling the rotary speaker speed to working the filter cutoff on the Envelope Filter and Autowah effects, an expression pedal is the perfect way to inject some personality into your effects.
