Hey all! Happy to write a positive review for this 5 button foot switch. Being new to Synergy, I first obtained the Syn-2 module dock and the Syn-50/50 power amp. Quickly became impressed with the Synergy rig but in order to change the channels you have to scroll through them using the single button on the Syn-2. So, with the Black Friday sale, grabbed this foot switch…and another module…ha! It hooks up seamlessly with the included midi cable. **To power the foot switch, you can use the included power supply OR as learned from another reviewer, run fantom power to the back of the Syn-2. I have a VooDoo Labs pedal power supply sitting on top of my Synergy rig, so I used a 12-volt output / power cable from that in to the Syn-2, perfect!
The foot switch performs just as it should. Quick seamless switches, and finally for me the ability to switch to any of the 4 channels in any order at any time. The 5th button switches to a super quiet bypass mode, cool for tuning your guitar etc. I am not midi savvy so I can't add anything as far as a review for that.
Hope this helps someone who may have a question about it, the reviews sure help me sometimes.

As usual great service and speedy delivery. Product is awesome and does exactly what it designed for and when the cable wears out you can easily replace it! Well thought out and well built!

Great compact unit! Has a 7 pin midi cable, just plug the AC into the phantom power on the back of synergy module rack and plug in the midi cable! The sequence was exactly how I was going set up myself. Changing sequence is easy if you want to change the order.
It's very well built! Feels tough as nails and the foot switches are solid. It does not feel cheap at all. It feels like it was designed for the gigging musician. The switches have just the right amount of back pressure, you don't have to stomp on them it's more like a confident/ firm tap.
Highly recommend this unit!

A must if u own the syn 2 module

If you have a Syn2 with 2 modules, this makes life SO much easier switching between the modules, the channels, or bypass. Just one press of a button and you can go from blue channel on module A, to red channel on module B, and then right back. Run the Syn2 through your Amp's effects loop and connect the "To Amp" output on the Syn2 into the input on your amp, and now you have have 3 different amps available to you by either selecting the "Bypass" (sends guitar signal to the front of your amp) or one of the channels for your Synergy modules.

I think it's a bit pricey for what it does, but at least it does the job well.
