For the Regulo Caro-7 Acoustic, Schecter selected the ideal tonewoods to match Regulo’s evocative and energetic play style. Its body comprises a Sitka spruce top and a mahogany back and sides. This combination blends the dynamic range and articulation of spruce with the rich harmonics and blossoming overtones of mahogany, for a high-headroom foundation that contains plenty of projection while accommodating finger- and flatpicked play styles. The hard-rock maple neck builds upon these foundations, thanks to its tonal penchant for full-spectrum warmth and brightness, with its natural note-separating voicing adding to the versatility born from its aural anchor.
