Descended from Westerly, Rhode Island
Guild came to prominence while manufacturing instruments in Hoboken, New Jersey. However, by 1967, Guild had outgrown their factory and moved production to Westerly, Rhode Island, to add space and make their production space more efficient. Combined with incredibly skilled employees, the Westerly facility ushered in a golden era of Guild acoustic instruments.
