Grace Your Eyes and Ears

Bask in The (Solid)Body Electric that is the Lerxst Grace Alex Lifeson Signature from Godin! True Rush aficionados will recognize this modern-day HSS 6-string’s homage of sight and sonics to the “Red Mirror” guitar that Alex frequented throughout the band’s Grace Under Pressure Tour of 1984. You’ll love its trio of remarkably present signature Lerxst pickups, plus its dependable playability for both stage and studio work. Its familiar and widely contoured S-style swamp ash body rests comfortably for standing play and unlimited access to every fret to fulfill both rhythmic and virtuosic duties with conviction. Given a slightly flattened C neck profile, its ebony-topped maple neck and fingerboard combo promotes not only a grip that meets the standards of Lerxst himself, but also an extremely articulate and well-sustaining playing experience. Finally, pro-performing appointments like 18:1 tuners, a Graph Tech TUSQ nut, and a Vega tremolo bequeath maximum creative freewill for every player who crosses the Lerxst Grace’s path.

Flawless feel throughout

A guitarist’s initial gauge of axe compatibility begins with a feel that isn’t hindering nor overbearing, and the Lerxst Grace passes with flying colors. A sturdy yet swingable S-style swamp ash body feels natural over the shoulder with its wide, cozy contouring and large cutaways. Up the neck, a flattened C profile poses a shallower, more modern feel with effortless ease of command. Traverse 22 frets atop a flawless ebony fingerboard and give proper attention to every note and chord that calls to you with impeccable natural comfort, sustain, and articulation. From studio tracking and stage performances to the comfort of your living room, the Lerxt Grace offers a feel that you’ll just never want to hang up.

Signature HSS setup

An HSS assortment of signature Lerxst pickups guarantees elevation from the sonic norm, infused with a hard-hitting yet impressively musical personality that only Lerxst could claim. First, the bridge Lerxst humbucker establishes a huge harmonic wash brimming with that legendary tonality that gained so much traction in the early '80s. But when it's more midrange or low-end definition you desire, two middle- and neck-position Lerxst single-coils idle locked and loaded to take over the spotlight with matching authority. To boot, a Lerxst-accurate and cutaway-mounted 3-way selector switch with master Volume and Tone knobs assume control of a number of cross-catalog tones without needless overcomplication — a godsend for performing players!

Primed for passionate playability

The Lerxst Grace is engineered to follow you onstage with zero compromises when it comes to dependability, and it all starts with stellar hardware adornment. Up at the headstock, this 6-string houses a set of precise 18:1 sealed-back tuning machines, giving you the green light to play with as much passion as the moment demands. While you play, know that a Graph Tech TUSQ nut promotes a completely balanced and even string reaction, free from buzz and ensuring a studio-grade smooth responsiveness. Last but not least, a Vega tremolo enables exceptionally rock-steady expressiveness to match the energy of every tune, be it sweetly subtle or harrowingly intense.

Certified signature 6-string

Rush fans can rest easy knowing that their Lerxst Grace will come with the shrine-worthy case candy to eclipse all other axes in their collection! Aside from being one killer axe, the Lerxst Grace includes an official certificate of authenticity from Godin, certifying its historical significance and a signature spot in their lineup. As a bonus, each signature guitar comes hand-signed by Lerxst himself! From one Canadian mastermind to another, Godin and Alex Lifeson have put their collective heart and soul into crafting this incredible 6-string — and it’s time to find it a proper home.

Reviews

Get the Vega Tremolo
Ordered this the day it came out. Goes with my Lifeson collection. The red is spectacular. A near metallic finish with a chrome or mirror pick guard.
Please know the selector switch is HSS. Humbucker, single, single. No 2nd or 4th (out of phase) switching or mixing of pickups. Just like a Gibson in switching.
I think the idea is to have single coils with like sound for different set ups. I just can't hear much difference between the middle and neck single coils. My opinion.
The humbucker stands out. The ebony fretboard is the thickest fretboard I've ever seen.
Where this guitar stands out is the Vega Tremolo. It's essentially a fancy version of a Fender Tremolo with a Floyd Rose without the trouble of having and dealing with a a Floyd. I like it, a lot.
So let's call this guitar a Fender Strat that sounds or acts like a Gibson.
Music background: Love playing guitars. Wish I was better!
