You can process your guitar tone separately from your synth sounds thanks to dual independent outputs, or you can use a single output and layer your synth sounds with your core guitar tone.

BOSS has long been a leader in guitar synth technology, and the EURUS GS-1 guitar empowers your creativity with cutting-edge synth sounds without requiring any additional pedals or pickup systems. Connect the EURUS GS-1’s dedicated synthesizer output to an amplifier, a mixing board, or a recording interface, and you’re ready to perform with synth sounds at the flick of a switch. The EURUS GS-1 is equipped with a synth memory knob to shift between six presets of your choice, with an additional synth control knob to fine-tune your sound.
Manage your synth sounds via Bluetooth or USB
The EURUS GS-1 allows you to save six onboard synth presets for instant recall, and they’re easy to manage and edit via USB or Bluetooth. With the GS-1 Editor app on your iOS or Android device, you can dive deep with programming synth sounds, tweaking preset parameters, and assigning synth parameters to the guitar’s synth control knob. You can also save your favorite sound combinations to your device for fast loading before performances and recording sessions.
Wireless performance control via optional EV-1-WL Wireless Expression Pedal
To make the most out of your newfound plethora of synthesizer tones, Sweetwater recommends pairing the EURUS GS-1 with the BOSS EV-1-WL wireless expression pedal (sold separately). The EV-1-WL connects to the EURUS GS-1 wirelessly via Bluetooth, giving you expressive, hands-free control over whatever synth parameters you choose. From generating filter sweeps to build up song transitions all the way to subtly controlling the depth of modulation and other parameters, the EV-1-WL expression pedal will open up new creative vistas with your EURUS GS-1 guitar.
Dual outputs for guitar and synth
For maximum sonic versatility, the BOSS EURUS GS-1 is equipped with separate outputs for your guitar and synth tones. You can run your guitar signal through your pedalboard and amplifier, while sending your synth tones direct to the mixing board or recording interface. With separate dedicated paths for your guitar and synth tones, the BOSS EURUS GS-1 is effectively two instruments in one. If you’d prefer to use a single signal path, simply use one output and your synth sounds will be layered with your guitar tone.
