Reviews

Great Bass! Get It!
I bought this bass a few months ago and have been doing work on my tracks with it. I highly recommend. The 5 string version does seem a bit 'long' in reach for the fretting hand. I have other basses of the same scale. The fingerboard plays great, the neck itself is very smooth and allows easy and fast movement. If you have tone in mind you'll most likely be able to dial it in; I have no negative comments. And its very affordable against it's competition like Spectors and Warwicks

Awesome
This bass is awesome. The maple fretboard provides a very poppy, punchy tone and the 3 band EQ provides a massive variety of tones. This thing just looks great. I get compliments about it at every gig I play. The only minor setback is the neck dive you will get from the way it is shaped. Also, you will want to put some kind of strap lock on it. I highly recommend this bass.

Fantastic Bass
I bought this bass online (which is to say, without actually playing it) kind of on a whim and, to be honest, largely based on aesthetic considerations: I loved the blueburst body in conjunction with the maple board (maple is also my fave fretboard wood RE: tone), the block inlays, the bound fretboard (how often do you see that feature at this price point), and that pointy, eighties-era headstock. Turns out that not only does the bass LOOK great, but it plays and sounds great too! This bass is right up there with my Peaveys (Cirrus 6, T-40, and TL-Five) with regards to having a killer neck profile that just plain works for me. A great "bang for the buck" bass...the only reason I knocked half a star off of this review is due to the fact that it is hard to find a case (hard or soft) that this thing will fit into!
