Naturally, Schecter’s luthiers answered the call to craft a signature 4-string bass that could balance the pulverizing power and precision of Nadja’s playstyle. To electrify the NP-4’s sonic substructure, Schecter’s engineers spared no effort in outfitting Nadja’s signature bass with a premium suite of tone-crafting tools, deploying active EMG pickups to augment and enhance the aural profile of the NP-4’s tonewood foundation. In the bridge, Schecter and Nadja opted for a 35DC humbucker, armed with ceramic bar magnets and a dual-coil design that punches through the mix and is versatile enough to accommodate the precise highs, thundering low-end growls, and everything in between. In terms of playability, the NP-4 is a masterclass in accommodation, sporting a Thin "C"-shaped neck profile with a meticulously sculpted cutaway and contouring providing complete access to all 22 frets sprawling its 34-inch scale and 16-inch fingerboard radius. Grover bass tuners complement Schecter’s Diamond Custom bridge that supports both string-thru and top-load configurations. The neck’s 3-piece construction increases the NP-4’s harmonic complexity, while dual carbon fiber reinforcement rods maximize the neck’s dimensional stability as it reduces weight, increasing resistance to twisting or warping from touring, the elements, and beyond.
