These are some of the best I have owned. I can wear these for hours without any discomfort and great sound reproduction. In fact, I wound up getting a second pair for my wife who is also a musician for her recording. Thanks again to Shaka for his recommendations in music gear!

They are comfortable to wear. I can notice the improvement in sound quality not just with high fidelity music files but also when streaming. I have a Hifiman Sundara for listening in home and it sounds much better, but I don't really miss it when I'm listening to the K361.

Using with my Roland TD-27KV2 e-set and now hearing all there is to this electronic drum set. They fit comfortably and do not weigh you down during long periods of playing. I'm hearing a lot more frequencies that other headphones seem not able to reproduce especially lows which are much clearer as well as mids and highs. The cups seal comfortably around each ear with very minimal leakage from outside unwanted noise. As a matter of fact, you don't hear any noise unless you're not listening to anything in the phones. I'm very pleased at my purchase.
Great set of headphones.

I have owned many a headphone set, but this one has really made a difference especially with my Roland TD-27Kv2 e-set. Before these arrived, I've been using a wireless headphone set by Sennheiser that primarily is best for watching movies and tv shows while others don't want to be bothered by the sounds. They work well for that purpose but not for electronic drums.
From the first moment I plugged the new AKG's in, there was a complete difference in sound. Unfortunately, I had re-eq the drum kits in the module to calm down the lows and highs due to the Sennheiser's distorting. The AKG 361 sounded all midrange until I re-eq the module to bring back the lows and highs. The AKG 361 immediately blew my mind! I heard timbers of drums that I hadn't heard before, and the level was HOT!
After researching, talking to other e-drummers, conversing with a sound recording engineer, the choice came down to the 361's. Priced just right and packaged with two cords at two different lengths is a plus. They are extremely comfortable with the soft ear cup cushions and seal out unwanted outside noise so well that the stick tapping on your e-cymbals and pads are not annoying anymore. We shall see how well these cans hold out. The 361's sound so great, I'm wondering what the difference from the 371 are.

Great sounding headphones that are very comfortable!
They don't fold up, which is HUGE for me as my clients were often struggling with my AT headphones.
I'm replacing all of my Audio Technica headphones with these. Best sounding and most durable for their price range.
The detachable cable is a real nice feature as well!
