It all starts with a multi-layer composite diaphragm, complete with a dome that’s coated in more than 80 layers of gold laminations. Next, Meze Audio bonds the dome to a titanium layer, then mounts it all on a PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) base to split the difference between stiffness and responsive performance.
