Looked all over for cassettes to record with my tascam finally I found your offer.

Yeah I still use these

I needed a couple of blank cassettes to record some tunes on and these worked great for me the price is in line with what else is available and they are tascam and made in USA.If you're nuts like me and still use these tapes at least they have them,I like tape got a tascam 4 track from the 70's too sounds awesome

Yeah,no,I gave a good review because the first one really worked good that was march,October I go to use the other one I bought and it's trash erratic level and wonky function.I must have got lucky with the first one,since when did tascam put out trash? Boy I'm getting old

Extremely noisy with dropouts

These are shockingly low quality tapes. Recently did some 4 tracking using one of these in a 424 mk3 and I thought something was wrong with the machine. Extreme hiss, uneven levels, uneven frequency response, click noises similar to a punch in everywhere, all on a brand new unused tape. Then I swapped the 424-s for an XLII. All these problems went away. Since then I've tried two more of these Tascam branded cassettes. One was barely maybe OKish, but quite noisy. The other exhibited all the problems described above. Obviously one expects a lofi sound when using a 4 track, but if you want it to sound like you left the tape in your pocket when you washed your pants, just buy an old used cassette. Don't buy these.

Trash

This tape is hot garbage. The plastic reels don't spin correctly in a Tascam 238. It sounds like dirt. The hiss is off the chain. Better off buying old chromes cause all of the tapes being manufactured today are horrible.
