A Great Low-profile Stand at a Great Price

When you need to record a sound that’s low to the ground (like a combo amp or a kick drum), do what our Sweetwater studio pros do: use a JamStands JS-MSFB50 low-profile mic stand! A low adjustable height of 16 to 23 inches and a 24-inch fixed-length boom arm mean it’ll fit into all of those hard-to-reach spots. Though it is light in weight (3.65 pounds), you don’t need to worry about this stand tipping over, thanks to a strong tripod base and non-slip rubber feet. Finally, a metal die-cast housing ensures this stand will be ready for years of service.

Reviews

Unbelievable Value
Holds up a Beta 52A at full extension without any issues. Only had it on a few sessions so far so I can't comment on durability but I'm very impressed so far. I like this considerably more than the stands I have from a particular aquatic reptile, they droop over time with the beta 52 on them.
Good mic stand
I purchased this mic stand for recording electric guitar in my studio. It seems very sturdy and stays where you set it. For studio use it should hold up for many years. I would definitely purchase another if needed.
Junk - Do Not Buy
Total junk...spend the money and buy a quality stand; you get what you pay for
Stripped threads
The joint between the vertical and the boom stripped on first use. The threads were we're made with to large a gap so they didn't have much grip on each other.
