We needed to get some music into our system for in between sets. Only having one channel open, this was exactly what we needed. I didn't love having it stick out from our I/O panel, but I realized it's a standard D sized housing so I took it apart and installed it with the bulk inside the rack and the antenna outside the panel. Now I don't have to mess with it, it's always in the rack and ready to go. It's worked perfectly every gig with an iPad connected about 15-20 feet away.

I run the sound system at church and purchased this to add Bluetooth capability. Boy, was it worth it. I was a bit apprehensive about the range - I figured the claimed 100-feet was an exaggeration. If so, not by much. It picks up my iPhone everywhere in the Nave (episcopal term, "sanctuary" for most others)… that's 85 feet (I measured). As you can see in the photos, it's a best-case scenario with the mixer in choir loft, with a clear shot from there. I can actually go a little ways into the hallway behind.

I bought this to use when I want to play music around the house with friends or just anywhere a full setup isn't needed. It works great. Pairs with my phone and laptops with ease, decent sound quality, and it's powered by the mixer. Can't ask for much more than that!

Finally got around to checking out the Switchcraft 318BT AudioStix. I purchased this receiver from Sweetwater via Mitch my go to engineer (LOL) I am well pleased with search and pairing ability. I paired on several devices with no problem. More importantly I'm pleased with the sound quality during transfer. I highly recommend this device. Thanks Mitch. The fact that it works with a usb. adapter is great. Some of my older equipment is not equipped with phantom power.

Very robust, and I love being able to power with phantom. Range seems just ok, so don't plan on wandering far from the unit if you plan to use for breaks.
