Making room without taking room
The NTS-4's two mono and four stereo inputs cover the full scope of a real-world hardware rig, all on 1/8-inch mini-jacks sized perfectly for Volca units, fellow NTS synths, and other desktop gear. The mono inputs include a switchable attenuator for modular-level signals, so Eurorack patches drop right in without level conversion. Each channel delivers hands-on control with dedicated Level, Pan (mono inputs only), Cue, Mute, and Send controls, letting you shape, preview, and drop signals in and out without ever diving into a menu. What's more, built-in 24-bit USB audio eliminates the need for a separate audio interface, and the NTS-4's compact aluminum body sits at the center of it all without taking over the table.
Two effects engines for one cohesive mix
The NTS-4 runs two independent effects engines simultaneously: a stereo Send FX engine for per-channel spatial processing and a master Total FX engine for shaping the full mix. Both engines share an edit section with FX Type and FX Depth knobs, a Send/Total toggle for dialing in each engine on the fly, and an LED display to confirm your selection. Choose from seven Send FX options (Delay, Ping-pong Delay, Hall Reverb A, Hall Reverb B, Slap Reverb A, Slap Reverb B, and Chorus) and 10 Total FX options (LPF, HPF, Isolator, Flanger, Phaser, Decimator, Drive, Distortion, Compressor, and Limiter). External Send/Return jacks also let you bring your outboard effects into the loop.
