Class-D technology

Over the years power amp technology has constantly been evolving, and the Behringer Europower PMP1680S power amps incorporate some of the the newest developments available. Thanks to the revolutionary Class-D technology with "near-zero" thermal buildup, the lightweight PMP1680S runs very cool, no more massive heat sinks or toroid transformers. You will love the punch and superior sound of these Class-D power amps. You can bridge the amps in the Behringer Europower PMP1680S for 1,600W of output, or deliver two 300W outputs for stereo or dual mono operation.

Effects

Behringer has provided 100 great sounding 24-bit stereo effects in the PMP1680S. You can apply the effects to your main outs as well as your monitor mixes. You have the tools you need to create a great sounding mix with 100 presets featuring reverbs, echo, chorus, delays, and more.

Sound sculpting tools

To give you the ultimate in flexibility the Behringer Europower PMP1680S has a strong set of tone sculpting tools. Dual 7-band graphic EQs lets you dial in exact tonal ranges. The built-in FBQ Feedback Detection System shows you the offending feedback frequencies so you can adjust them accordingly with the graphic EQ. The PMP1680S even includes a voice canceler function to remove the singer's voice from recorded music for karaoke use.

I was using the Behringer PMP960M for 16 years it was time to retire power mixer the circulation air fan has been getting louder the sound isn't as clean or crystal clear it's tired it was an excellent power mixer for my keyboard rig it for 16 years I was worried about it's age and failing on the gig. So I upgraded to the Behringer PMP1680S power mixer this was a excellent purchase having more head room plenty of power if I can't go through the mains it's extremely quite it's works acceptably well with my JBL PRX412M 1200W 12 inch Passive Monitor Speaker. This power mixer should get me to the finish line!

This 1680s is a very powerful mixer with a great sound, nothing else out there really compares. I deal with Bart Amburn and he has always been helpful and knowledgeable on the equipment and instruments. This powered mixer will handle any type of job you use it on and the quailty of the sound is 5 stars, even outside--this mixer preforms well.

I puchased the 1680S powered mixer, this is a great mixer. I contacted Bart Amburn because I needed to ship to another address because of weather, I needed the powered mixer and Bart called me back and arranged the shipping to another location so I could get the delivery promptly. As Always--I deal with Sweetwater because of the service and response that has always been outstanding with Bart. I don't buy musical instruments anywhere else, Thank you Sweetwater and thank you Bart.

The band is very pleased with the performance of the new mixer. As we are mature (old) guys we had concerns about setting it up properly. The instructions were ok but the Behringer you tube tutorial was awesome. We've used the system on several gigs and have received rave reviews from the folks that come to hear us.

This rig is impressive for the money.

I have the 900 watt version of this powered mixer/pa and habe used it on stage and at public events many times.

What I actually originally bought it for was to use it as my home stereo interface so I could run turntables, tape decks, computers, IPods, and my tuner into it as my home stereo.

The neighbors love it.

I have a set of eurolive 12" speakers and 25 and 50' stacon cables and talk about awesome sound and control!

Best home stereo I've ever had.

It also works very we for sound reinforcement on stage and into a larger board at music venues.

Haven't had a single issue with it in more than ten years and it hasn't been babied.

Hard to beat for the money, ease of use and durability.

Yes it's a simple unit but it works well

The effects suite also works very well and I have found nearly everything in it to be useful in some way

I'm difficult to please when it comes to a lot of things and if I can give it a 5 it's worth every penny.
