You get an 18 x 18 audio interface that works with Yamaha's VST Rack along with a 144 x 144 Dante interface. The DM7 is also outfitted with a DAW remote function, an internal dual power supply, an ultra-efficient split mode, and cutting-edge AI assist functions. Rivage-inspired user experience

The DM7 boasts a smart, modern interface inspired by Yamaha's top-of-the-line Rivage PM series. Although this console delivers a warm, vintage-tinged analog sound, its user experience is digital all the way. The DM7 employs an intuitive combination of onscreen and physical controls, with increased visibility on your selected channel. This smartly designed digital mixer puts what you need exactly where — and when — you need it, such as offering time-based metering and information on dynamics, and putting fully customizable signal flow and sequential patching at your fingertips.

Next-level sound quality

Yamaha's legacy of amazing-sounding consoles stretches back to the 1970s, and the DM7 continues that tradition. Capable of sampling rates as high as 96kHz, this top-shelf digital console offers first-class features culled from the company's Rivage PM systems, along with signal coloration within channel dynamics, 64 assignable premium processing slots, 16 assignable Yamaha FX slots, and four assignable inserts per channel.

Packs a lot of I/O into a compact console

Here at Sweetwater, we're impressed with how Yamaha packed 120 mixable channels into the DM7, which houses 32 excellent-sounding mic preamps and 16 analog outputs, along with 48 mixes, 12 matrixes, two stereo buses, and two cue mixes. A 144 x 144 Dante interface supplies loads of room for expansion. You also get an 18 x 18 USB audio interface with Yamaha VST Rack compatibility for playback and recording.

Streamlined, adaptive operation

The Yamaha DM7 comes loaded with AI assist features that seamlessly adapt its functions to your preferences and workflow. Moreover, this digital mixer includes a split mode designed to assist a single engineer in mixing monitors and front of house, or front of house and broadcast with ease. With all the DM7's tools at your disposal, you'll be able to craft a rock-solid mix — even if your soundcheck was cut short.
