For over 50 years, the minds behind Australian mic maker RODE have been bringing pro audio to value-minded songwriters, producers, and podcasters everywhere. Husband and wife duo Astrid and Henry Freedman launched Freedman Electronics — predecessor to the RODE brand — in 1967. Freedman soon became a leader in loudspeakers, audio amplifiers, and eventually microphones.
