Beastly Metal Tones, Modeled to the Transistor
Your ticket to beastly, brutal, Holy Grail–caliber metal tones, Impact Soundworks Shreddage Amp Venom is purpose-built for metalcore, progressive metal, nu metal, and beyond. Replicated down to the individual transistor level, this circuit-modeled amp emulation plugin features Clean, Crunch, and Lead channels, each with individual Gain and Drive controls. A Bright toggle on the Clean channel and a Notch switch on the Crunch and Lead channels unlock even more tonal textures, further bolstered by an eminently musical 3-band EQ. A full power amp section with Presence, Deep, and Master controls, joined by a 10-band Master EQ, round out Shreddage Amp Venom’s tone-shaping controls. We’re sticklers for tone here at Sweetwater, and Shreddage Amp Venom definitely checks all the right boxes, delivering a raw, highly saturated character that’s both heavy and articulate and with plenty of bone-rattling low end. Moreover, this feature-laden software includes a modular pedalboard and a potent cabinet section, complete with handpicked IRs featuring multiple mic placements and axis variations. When you need massive, monstrous metal tones, Shreddage Amp Venom certainly delivers the goods.

Impact Soundworks: load, play, and score
Founded in 2008 by two composers specializing in electronic music and video game soundtracks, Impact Soundworks creates user-friendly virtual instruments and plugins intended to both perform and inspire. The company’s vast array of accessible libraries is built around a simple idea: the best virtual tools are those you can load, play, and trust without spending ample time tweaking before pressing record. This philosophy appears in each product — whether it's a virtual guitar that sits in a mix just like the real thing, strings that respond like an actual ensemble, or a retro synth that nails the vibe before you've even touched a preset. Sweetwater recommends Impact Soundworks products to both professional composers and hobbyists alike for use in film, television, and games when they need a wide range of no-fuss, high-quality sounds.
