Captures the Sound of Legendary Producer/Engineer Al Schmitt
With their Al Schmitt Signature plug-in, the developers at Leapwing Audio pay tribute to one of the music industry’s most celebrated Grammy-winning producer/engineers. Designed as an intuitive channel strip with minimal controls, the Al Schmitt Signature plug-in uses advanced algorithms to re-create Al’s streamlined workflow and sonic hallmarks. It all starts with the plug-in’s six unique profiles for vocal, piano, bass, brass, strings, and the mix bus, which are meticulously voiced to bring out the best features of those respective instruments. Next, the Al Schmitt plug-in gives you six controls for fine-tuning the sound — body level, compression, air level, air type, echo level, and echo type — and provides you with visual feedback via its gorgeous Retina-design user interface. Al's work with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Steely Dan, Celine Dion, Paul McCartney, and countless other music icons has served as an inspiration for generations of producers and engineers, including those of us at Sweetwater. Harness Al’s legendary sound in your productions with the Al Schmitt Signature plug-in from Leapwing Audio!
