The Pulsar Echorec is an analog delay enthusiast's playground. At its core, it provides a spot-on emulation of a vintage magnetic disk echo, in all its analog glory. This plug-in does things that were hard — or impossible — to achieve with a hardware unit. For starters, you can change the virtual motor speed (and, consequently, the delay time) in real time with a twist of a knob. You can also synchronize the repeats with your DAW or via the included Tap button. A Condition knob enables you to choose between three states of wear, while the Stereo Drift knob slightly detunes the channels for a larger-than-life stereo effect. You also get variable tube drive and selectable modulation modes for creating mind-blowing effects. Lastly, an Off mode reproduces the color and grit of your delayed signal, without any delay.
