A Hardcover History of the 6-string That Started It All

In 1951, Leo Fender changed the trajectory of music forever by introducing the first mass-produced solidbody guitar in history: the Telecaster. Written by renowned guitar historian Dave Hunter, Fender Telecaster: 75 Years traces the Tele's development from its earliest origins in Leo’s modest workshop to the dawn of the 1950 “Broadcaster” to the Tele as it stands today. What’s more, this all-encompassing Telecaster tale features over 300 color photographs, comprising archive material, vintage ads, and more. A slipcase adorned with Leo’s original Telecaster patent illustrations ties this collector-grade hardcover together. Truly, Fender Telecaster: 75 Years is a must-have book for any serious Fender fanatics, and you’ll find no shortage of copies across the bookshelves, desks, and coffee tables of Sweetwater’s countless Tele adherents.
