Ready for any stage
The CEU511S's nickel-silver leadpipe resists corrosion and pairs well with a large shank euphonium mouthpiece for a solid tonal foundation. Building on this, the CEU511S also features a 0.581-inch/0.601-inch dual-bore design across four in-line piston valves, generating an even response with solid low-end support at any tempo or technical complexity. Sonorous sonics abound with this euphonium, which proudly sports an 11-inch bell capable of layering into low-brass sections and soaring above the ensemble in equal measure. The CEU511S is outfitted with a resilient hardshell ABS case and comes ready to play with an approachable large shank Bach 5G mouthpiece.

Superb intonation throughout
The CEU511S is a non-compensating euphonium that retains much of the breadth of sound and intonation acumen of its heavier, compensating counterparts. A spring-loaded third tuning slide kick facilitates instant intonation adjustment. Meanwhile, an extended-pull fourth valve tuning slide rounds out low-end intonation while simultaneously extending the CEU511S’s range to a centered and comfortable low B. Each tuning slide utilizes a solid finger ring for steady adjustments before or during performances.
About C.G. Conn
Since its founding in 1915 by Charles Gerald Conn in Elkhart, Indiana, the C.G. Conn brand has been synonymous with high-quality brass instruments. Even today, the company's most popular models — the Conn 8D French horn, 88H trombone, 62H bass trombone, 52BSP trumpet, and 1FR flugelhorn — command respect. At Sweetwater, we stand behind Conn horns, given their tremendous response, outstanding projection, and one-of-a-kind sonic qualities.
