64 channels of bidirectional audio
The Dante-WSG XS handles up to 64 channels of bidirectional audio between Dante and WSG networks at 44.1 or 48kHz sample rates. Step up to 88.2 or 96kHz and channel count drops to 32, giving you a straightforward tradeoff between channel density and sample rate depending on your session. Even at the highest sample rate, typical latency stays well under a millisecond, ensuring that the added Dante connectivity doesn't introduce a perceptible delay into your signal chain.
Bridging eMotion LV1 and SuperRack to Dante
Whether the SoundGrid system in question is a self-contained eMotion LV1 Classic console or a modular SuperRack rig built around a separate SoundGrid server and host computer, the Dante-WSG XS simplifies connecting to Dante. For LV1 Classic users, the bridge connects directly between the console and the Dante network with no additional switching required. For SuperRack or modular LV1 setups, the bridge sits on the SoundGrid network alongside the server and host, routed through a SoundGrid-qualified switch, passing audio out to Dante from there.
