Versatile Interface and DI for Your Network
The Crest Audio Stage 2x2D is a Dante/AES67 audio interface plus DI box with a few tricks up its sleeve. Proprietary mic and line preamps cover an unusually wide range of sources from delicate condenser microphones to the high-voltage output of 70V distributed PA systems. A dedicated 1MΩ hi-Z input with parallel Through lets guitarists feed their amp and capture a clean DI simultaneously. Two channels of analog audio route to any Dante- or AES67-enabled network, with two channels returned as configurable stereo or mono line-level outputs. Powered entirely over a single Ethernet cable, the Stage 2x2D simplifies installation without compromising performance, whether you place it in a touring rack or a permanent installation.

Ready for installed sound
Most DI boxes are designed for instrument and line-level signals, so if you plug into a 70V distributed amplifier system, you'll clip the input instantly. The Stage 2x2D's line input is built to handle it natively, with a +44dBu peak ceiling that accommodates the high-voltage signal levels common in installed sound systems found in hotels, convention centers, houses of worship, and performance venues. According to Sweetwater's live sound engineers, this means that the Stage 2×2D allows you to tap directly into an existing 70V PA system for recording, monitoring, or network routing without additional attenuation hardware between the source and the box.
