Enter, the Bluebox Digital Mixer and Recorder Eurorack Module. Like it’s standalone sonic sibling, the Bluebox Eurorack module is a versatile powerhouse for mixing, recording, and manipulating your sound, perfect for anything from drum machines and synths to external audio-sampling and more. Its 12 mono line inputs can be configured for recording as mono tracks, or paired for up to six stereo tracks. Synthesists at Sweetwater appreciate Bluebox’s flesible management options, whether you’re using CV to attenuate mix placements or the 4-band EQ or re-routing from any of its four mono-plus-stereo outputs. Versatile audio and MIDI management comprise TRS and USB-C for both, with further DAW integration available, as well as painless, direct recording with the onboard microSD card reader.

12 mono inputs
Musicians at Sweetwater know that modern Eurorack arrangements are as unique as the artists who create with them — and the Bluebox module is ready for them all. Twelve mono line-level inputs will accommodate your synth modules, drum machines, samplers, and even audio directly from your DAW.
Keep everything in sync with MIDI
To help make the Bluebox as compact as possible, MIDI I/O is provided via 1/8-inch TRS connectors or directly over USB-C from your DAW or other device. You can use any device's MIDI clock to beat sync the Bluebox's effects, or use the Bluebox MIDI clock to keep the rest of your gear in sync.
Flexible USB and CV integration
While you can easily control the Bluebox with the satisfying tactility of its hands-on controls, you can also integrate your favorite USB-MIDI controller for external control. Just connect to the USB-C device port for remote control over transport, recording, panning and volume, effects controls, and all other functions. What’s more, six onboard CV jacks allow for highly-expressive and nuanced sonic control, deeply integrating with your Eurorack rig.
Record and mix
No DAW required
Connect your gear to the Bluebox, and you can record audio with up to six stereo tracks or 12 mono tracks. Start composing tracks from scratch, or load up tracks you have in progress and improvise along with them. The Bluebox's recording capabilities and four mono-plus-stereo headphone outputs also make it a great solution for sampling sounds from your synths and drum machines for later use, or even re-sampling as you go.
Elevate your mix with reverb and delay
Each track in the Bluebox has an independent send control for high-quality reverb and delay effects. To fine-tune your sounds, each track offers a 4-band parametric EQ with three available EQ modes: Parametric, Low Cut/Low Shelf, and High Cut/High Shelf. And a global compressor is ready to glue your mix together and give your tracks maximum impact.
Record studio-quality audio direct to microSD
The Bluebox comes with a microSD card, helpfully pre-loaded with firmware as well as project files. You'll be able to record hours of multitrack 24-bit/48kHz audio to the microSD card; you can also use the microSD card to store backing tracks to support your live sets. And speaking of live performance, the Bluebox can also record your entire mix as a stereo file — you could upload your set via social media before leaving the club!
