Reviews

A Must Have!
They are wider than any other stick I have ever used, making them easy to hold and use (beat) on the cajon. The rubber rings on them that are keeping the little nylon sticks bundled together, help with the stick's rebound, as well as slide up and down to make them a harder/dence stick, or softer brush like sound and feel. These sticks are a bit pricy, yes...but so far mine have lasted over one year, so it's a great investment in yourself! For the sake of your hands health (especially long term) please get yourself a pair of these.
Nice Jazzy Feel With These Brushes.
I've used these only a bit, so keep that in mind when you read my words. These seem like a decent quality product. Because I play jazz, and wanted to save some wear and tear on my hands, I bought these. They give a nice jazzy sound to the cajon, but it's quieter than hand beating on the cajon. So, you might have to use a microphone to have the subtle nuances of the bush sound heard in a fairly large room or with loud musicians. They look to be built with quality. You can get more of a beating sound, rather than a brush sound, if you compress the strands, with the rubber bands that come stock on these (push the rubber band closer to the end of the brush.) I don't know how durable these are over the long run. I haven't used them extensively, and/or long enough. For my purpose, which is mainly using them for recording with the cajon, they'll work well. They are also a lot of fun. Each brush is almost an inch in diameter, so they are bulky, but they are easy to hold. If you need a jazzy sound out of your cajon, or you're just trying to save some wear and tear on your hands, this is a good product to have.
Music background: Solo jazz player. Background original music.
Must have if your into Cajon playing
These are a must have for Cajon playing. They give you a lot of options on sound and play-ability. I would Highly recommend these brushes to get to most out of your Cajon.
