7-string Metalcore Brutality and Classic Jackson Performance

Inspired by Mark Heylmun of Suicide Silence’s #1 Jackson Custom Shop axe, it’s only fitting that the Pro Series Signature Mark Heylmun Rhoads RR24-7 sports brooding looks to match his band’s furious deathcore grind! This guitar’s lightweight nyatoh body is host to a graphite-reinforced, through-body maple neck, resulting in exceptional sustain and maximum structural stability. Next, dual Fishman Modern multi-voice humbuckers unlock both active and passive humbucking tones to shape out your grit and crunch, while a genuine Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo delivers screaming squeals and decked dive bombs without dropping a beat. Finally, a pinstriped gloss black finish, ebony fingerboard, and gold hardware outfit Mark’s signature axe with a touch of visual refinement to complement tthe Pro Series Signature Mark Heylmun Rhoads RR24-7's otherwise menacing cosmetics.

Multi-voice Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers

While Suicide Silence is primarily known for their brutal deathcore grind, the band has spent the past two decades exploring and incorporating a vast array of metal influences into their raw, punishing sound. To capture all of these pummeling high-gain tones within a single instrument, Mark chose to load his signature RR24-7 up with an exceptionally versatile pair of multi-voice Fishman Fluence Modern pickups. These pickups can be run in both active and passive modes, allowing players to instantly switch between the active’s modern grind and the slightly more traditional sound of a high-octane ceramic humbucker. In fact, many of Sweetwater’s 7-string chug experts have found that Fishman Fluence Modern pickups remain dead quiet, even when running your rig at Mark Heylmun-approved screaming volumes and ultra-high-gain settings.

Rock-solid genuine Floyd Rose tremolo

The Pro Series Signature Mark Heylmun Rhoads RR24-7 comes equipped with a genuine Floyd Rose 1000-series tremolo for versatile vibrato and maximum tuning reliability. This system locks your strings at both the nut and at the bridge, resulting in incredible stability when properly set up, no matter how hard you push your instrument. From ‘80s metal dive bombs to Mark’s iconic squealing riffage, the Floyd Rose is truly a must-have piece of kit for any metal player hunting after a tremolo-equipped guitar.

Fast-playing maple neck and compound-radius fingerboard

Jackson crafted the Pro Series Signature Mark Heylmun Rhoads RR24-7 to be a high-performance extended-range electric with maximum clarity, sustain, and sonic power. Its graphite-reinforced maple neck boasts a gloss finish for slick playability, while its fast-playing ebony compound-radius fingerboard is the ideal platform for heavy riffing and high-speed soloing. Down low, your fretting hand will value the 12-inch radius that keeps things nice and comfortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 16-inch radius lays it all out flat for effortless, low-action, lightning-fast runs, and wide string bends without fretting out.

Jackson Pro Series Signature Mark Heylmun Rhoads RR24-7 7-string Electric Guitar Features:

  • Lightweight nyatoh body in Jackson’s aggressive Rhoads shape
  • Through-body maple neck for increased sustain and resonance
  • Elegant ebony fingerboard in a 12-16-inch compound radius for optimal playability and down the fingerboard
  • Floyd Rose 1000-series double-locking tremolo allows for decked dive bombs with no drop in tuning stability
  • Long 26.5-inch scale length ensures excellent intonation and proper tension across all seven strings
  • Dual Fishman Fluence Modern pickups deliver both ultra-modern active metal tones and classic high-output ceramic humbucker punch

Reviews

Very Nice!
As a reviewer somewhat stated before, I will concur. If you're into 7 string Jackson pointy guitars in the homage to Randy Rhoades ? This may be the Holy Grail.
I purchased this piece of art as a,Certified Open Box.
I would HIGHLY recommend this deal and purchase option. My guitar showed up PERFECT and actually in tune!
I'm NOT into pointy guitars. But, if you have a Jackson 5 collection as I do; this is a must have.
Did I mention the backward engineered alien technology pickups? Yup.
Excellent addition to my “Jackson 5” collection.

If you're into pointy guitars, this just might be your holy grail. I'm not a fan of the pointy axes. This one however, is a rock god necessity. If you collect Jacksons, you can't not have a high tech and absolutely luxurious homage to Randy Rhoades.

Also, I can't say enough about how awesome the deal was. I highly recommend buying the Certified Open Box program offerings. That's s how I bought this one. First class concierge service. Saved $ bucks, got a personal call from a service manager, talked about Jackson guitars for a bit and he sent me the pictures and videos of its marketing use. It had been gone over several times by worthy techs. I received it in PERFECT brand new condition. Even better than new from the factory. It is absolutely flawless both cosmetically and operationally.

Perfect guitar if you are looking for a pointy 7 string
This guitar is almost perfect imo. The quality, finish and fretwork is great, no QC flaws at all. The neck is thin and C shaped and very comfortable and the compound radius feels amazing and the fishmans sound great

Only issue is for the price tag you can get other guitars that have the same specs plus a more like stainless steel frets and satin neck finish like a Schecter SLS Elite. So I would only recommend this if you really love the shape and looks
Music background: Thrash metal and death metal. Playing local gigs + little home studio work
Awesome
This is an awesome guitar... looks awesome and is awesome to play. There are pros and cons to every guitar but if you are thinking about this guitar then you also know what you like. If you like the look and you want a 7 string this thing is definitely awesome.
Awesome guitar but not for me
Whats up metal heads!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I decided to take a walk thru the 7 string land I got a tester 7 string first to see if I like playing 7 at first I was all in so I bought this But it doesn't fit my size in my hands it feels like a 2"x 4" a wide board with strings on it. I guess maybe cause I'm kind of a small guy so for me it was hard to get around the fretboard more than the tester guitar I had got before so I sent it back to the store. It has great features like where he had them shave off the extra wood and the active pickups sound great and the coil tap is a great feature it has loads of tone. I never liked the Chinese / Korean production model Floyd Rose bridges they are made with much less quality control than the German made Floyds which are the original manufacturers of the Floyd Rose anyway and I've been playing Floyd Rose bridges for 30 + years and I always replace the bridges with the German made Floyd and I usually drop a good set of new machine head tuners like Gotoh or Grover Why? because #1Thats the weakest link on these Indonesian made guitars other than that the wood the pickups are the same that the custom USA made versions are made of only you're paying a 1/3 or so the cost. #2: They stay in tune much better #3: you can feel the tight and accurate machine quality right in you finger tips when you start turning the fine tuners at the bridge you can tell right away between a Chinese replica has a ruff and loose and wiggling feel to it While a German made original has a good study and smooth operation even without looking under the bridge plate the Chinese and Korean made bridges do not say where they are made but if you look under the real floyd Rose bridge opposite the whammy bar side it will say made in Germany. The 7 string whammy bar is going to be naturally harder or stiffer feeling than a 6 string whammy bar to compensate for the extra tension for the seventh string so don't expect that same action as your other 6 string. It sounded great on both my amps both the Peavey 6505+ and the ENGL Savage 60 it's just too big for me and I love my 6 string Jackson RR much better. So it is a killer axe for those who can get around that fretboard It is a killer axe! I would put an original German made Floyd on it if I would have kept it you can find original Floyds at their website. these are the best upgrade for my indonesian made guitars and still much less than buying a custom USA Jackson. Cheers mates!
