Inject Your Bass with Punch and Attitude

Harness the authoritative thump of a P Bass. Wield the hard-hitting growl of a J Bass. Inject your bass with truckloads of blistering high-output punch, and infuse every note with incredible low-end bite and sustain. It's the sound you've heard from bands like Blink 182, Alien Ant Farm, Rise Against, Bad Religion, and The Smashing Pumpkins. And it's yours with the Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound PJ Set. These versatile pickups sound great in any setting, and if you add a two- or three-band EQ you can tackle anything. Whether you play rock, punk, or metal, drop the Quarter Pound PJ Set into your bass, and you'll never get lost in the mix again.

Fat, full, and punchy — the definitive P Bass tone

The Quarter Pound P Bass SPB-3's high output and versatility make it an easy fit for blues, classic rock, punk, heavy rock, classic metal, and nü-metal. The quarter-inch diameter pole pieces expand the magnetic field and extend the frequency range for fat, full, punchy sound with tremendous mid-range presence and maximum output. Though often used for heavy rock tones, this pickup possesses amazing tonal versatility. Includes logo covers.

Attack and attitude — the sound of the Jazz Bass

The Quarter Pound J Bass SJB-3 was developed for the bassist who needs slammin' output and a powerful attack. The quarter-inch pole pieces and intense windings deliver a full response with great sustain. The SJB-3's quarter-inch pole-pieces are nestled in intensely wound bobbins and add to the great tone of these pickups, boosting the sustain and giving a full response across the frequency spectrum. Recommended for blues, classic rock, garage, heavy rock, classic metal, and nü-metal, this pickup can do it all! Includes a logo cover.

Reviews

Really Great
I put these in my PJ Mustang Bass paired them with a Mojotone PIO .047 cap, what a difference, fat, round full tone love them
Pure Awesome!
Definite upgrade for my Deluxe Fender P-Bass. Amazing lows, great sustain, with a punch that would make Mike Tyson look twice. Even my wife, who doesn't play an instrument, poked her head into the room after I got it done and told me how great it sounded. Very happy with my purchase! Thanks again to Mark for all his help.
Revived my bass!
Finally caved and ripped the horrible active pickups my bass came with. These were an excellent choice, well worth the cost. The bridge pickup sounds especially nice and they are of very high quality. Would recommend these to someone looking to make the switch from active to passive. If you already have passives, you would have to be in a much higher price range to notice a difference I think.

Overall: Solid, punchy, clear highs, boom-y low end. Heavy suckers, quarter-pound is not just a marketing name!
Great pickups!
I'm so glad that I purchased these Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder pickups for one of my Mustang basses. Thank you, Jimmy Hart, for your good advice regarding this choice. These pickups have plenty of of power and deep enough tone to suit me. Thanks again for your excellent salesmanship, Jimmy Hart.
Music background: I play bass guitar in a country, gospel, bluegrass band
Ibanez Mikro Replacement
Swapped out the pickups in an Ibanez Mikro..l. it radically changed the sound. These are worth every penny. Now I can record with this bass... before, the sound was too harsh and inconsistent.
