AI-driven SoundCap Eye technology
The CS-800 leverages Yamaha’s revolutionary SoundCap Eye technology, which uses both voice and camera pickup to pinpoint participant locations for truly next-level position tracking. Specifically, SoundCap Eye gleans the physical location of a presenter from the CS-800’s built-in camera while using the onboard Hexa Microphone to track their audio source location as they speak. Moreover, SoundCap Eye unifies three of Yamaha’s acclaimed technologies: Face Focus Beamforming, Self-silence, and Self-volume. Face Focus Beamforming employs AI to track participants’ faces and suppress audio coming from anywhere other than the person captured on camera. Self-silence uses Yamaha’s HVAD (Human Voice Activity Detection) technology to automatically mute the unit’s microphone when the corresponding participant isn’t speaking to cut down on extraneous noise. Finally, Self-volume automatically adjusts a participant’s volume in relation to the room’s ambient noise to ensure an optimal speaker output level.
Intelligent Smart Framing function

This function provides you with a generous maximum framing distance of nearly 15 feet, which allows you to deploy it in small huddle rooms and mid-sized conference rooms with equal assurance.
