On my Windows XP machine, I get the following error when loading Pro Tools 6.1: “An error (-1) occurred while initializing OMS. You may continue without OMS functionality.” I thought OMS was only for Macintosh.
Correct, OMS was never released for Windows, this error means there is a conflict with your Pro Tools MIDI and Yamaha USB MIDI products such as the Motif, DM2000, and others. You should completely uninstall the Yamaha USB software and restart your computer.
