What is the difference between the Waves SSL 4000 Collection and the plug-ins that come with Duende?
There are two primary differences between the Waves SSL 4000 Collection and the plug-ins that come with Duende.
The first major difference is the console on which the plug-ins are based. The Waves SSL 4000 Collection is modeled on the Solid State Logic SL 4000 series consoles while the plug-ins that are included with Duende are taken from the Solid State Logic C200 digital production console.
The second significant difference is that Duende plug-ins run on Duende hardware and the Waves SSL 4000 Collection run natively on your host CPU.
