I’m trying to use UVI-Xtract to convert large Giga files that are stored across more than one CD. The files are labled “.gi!”, and UVI-Xtract doesn’t see them.
While UVI-Xtract can recognize and convert “.gig” files, it can’t currently use the “.gi!” type file. MOTU is researching the issue.
A temporary solution would be to install these large files onto a PC, and transfer the resulting “.gig” file to Mac (of course, the large size of the file might make this complicated).
