Can use Unity DS1 with Opcode Vision, Studio Vision Pro, or other versions of Vision?
Bitheadz never tested this combination thoroughly enough to establish how well it would work. Here’s a description from Ted Weil at Bitheadz on how you’d set Unity up to ‘try’ it in Vision.
In the Unity control panel configure Unity to run under OMS and make sure the OMS Studio Config is set up accordingly. If you’ve got the ASIO compatible hardware already assigned in Vision, it may not be multi-client happy and so you’ll probably want to run Unity under Sound Manager. Then boot the Unity Player first (making sure the OMS Input App boots) and then launch Vision. With the OMS Input App, make sure you have “All” selected under “Ports”, then in Vision if he assigns the output of a MIDI track to Unity’s OMS device it -should- work.
