UJAM Software Activation Instructions
In this guide, we will show you how to register, install, and activate your new UJAM software. Follow the sections below to get started.
Register and Download the Software
The first step in the process is to create an account with UJAM, then register and download the software. You must enter your serial number via the UJAM partner shop website. Follow these steps to register the software.
- Log in to your UJAM account. If you don’t have an account, click I’m new to UJAM on the login page and fill out the required information.
- On your account page, click Go to Partner Checkout.
- Copy and paste the code you received from your Sweetwater Sales Engineer, agree to the terms and conditions, then click Continue to download.
How to Move Library Content
During the installation process, you will be asked where you want to install your library. By default, the content will be installed to:
- Mac: /Library/Application Support/UJAM/*your UJAM Product*
- PC: C:\ProgramData\UJAM\*your UJAM Product*
For best file management, we recommend installing them to a unique folder (e.g., UJAM content) on a dedicated solid-state or 7,200 RPM external hard drive, but your internal hard drive will work, too. However, if you want to move the library content afterward, you can do so by following these instructions.
- Go to the default installation location for your OS (see above), then move the .blob file to the new folder.
- Launch your DAW and load your UJAM plug-in onto an instrument track.
- When you’re asked to select the file location, select the new location of the .blob file.
Download the UJAM App
Once you’ve registered and downloaded your UJAM plug-in, you must download and install the UJAM app. The UJAM app allows you to update and manage your plug-ins all in one place.
- Go to the UJAM app download page and scroll down until you see the download button for your OS.
- Once the app is downloaded, navigate to your Downloads folder, then locate and launch the UJAM app installer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
- Launch the app, then enter your UJAM account credentials. You will now be able to see all UJAM products registered to your account.
