Can I use two MOTU MTPAV’s to get midi channels 1-8 and 9-16 in Windows?

On Windows, the net port will not network two MTPAV’s, but you can use two USB MTP’s or a parallel and USB MTP, and it will show up as two units with 1-8 on each, giving you 16 midi ports. You should note that Windows 98 SE and Windows 2000 have a 10 port midi limitation. The operating system will not correctly handle more than 10 active midi ports, so if you have these operating systems, you should disable any unused ports (SoundBlaster or equivalent) and be aware that you may not be able to use all the ports at the same time. Windows ME and XP do not have this limitation.
